Crisis Fund
At The Venetian and Palazzo, we take great pride in our role as a good corporate citizen and integral part of the Southern Nevada community. Over ten thousand Team Members provide for our guests; Las Vegas Sands Corp. in turn provides assistance to its Team Members and their neighbors in times of need. We understand that there are times when local residents in crisis could use a lifeboat. We're hoping a gondola will do.
To Qualify
Any member of the Southern Nevada community facing a crisis is eligible to receive assistance from the Sands Foundation Community Crisis Fund. A crisis may consist of immediate family disasters such as a fire, accident, sudden illness, personal tragedy, or other life-altering event in which the individual suffers severe financial hardship. Requests for assistance are considered on a case-by-case basis. Applicants must first exhaust all other sources of financial assistance, including family, friends, churches, public services, alimony, child support, 401(k) plans, and checking and savings accounts. Mortgage/rent, utilities, and living expenses are provided by the Foundation only in the case of an emergency. All assistance through Sands Foundation will be paid directly to the source providing the needed service.
